For starters- this recipe is best made in a smaller 2 or 3 qt crock pot.
1/3 cup of oil (I used coconut oil)
1/2 cup sugar
1 large egg, beaten
2 cups of dry quick oats
1 1/2 tsp baking powder (Check to make sure it's gluten-free. Not all baking powders are)
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup milk (I substituted coconut milk to make mine dairy free. But I actually preferred it in this context. Came out creamier that way)
1. Pour the oil into the slow cooker to grease bottom and sides.
2. Add the other ingredients and mix.
3. Bake on LOW 2 1/2- 3 hours.
4. Serve with a bit of milk or dairy substitute swirled in. Enjoy!
